Michelle
Kennedy-Coenen
MS, LCSW
Michelle
Kennedy-Coenen, MS,
brings over 20 years
of therapy experience
to the clinic. Prior
to joining Fox Valley
Psychiatric Associates
in 2000, Michelle worked
in both inpatient settings
at St. Elizabeth Hospital,
Mercy Medical Center
and Winnebago Mental
Health Institute as
well as previous outpatient
work at Mercy's Counseling
Services. Michelle has
also worked as an Employee
Assistance Program provider.
Though she maintains
a broad clinical practice,
her areas of specialty
include women and family
issues, depression,
grief and pediatric
anxiety. Michelle is
a busy mother of five
and loves to read, go
for long walks and travel.

Jennifer
Olkowski
LPC, CADC III
Jennifer
Olkowski joined FVPA
in 2005. Prior to joining
us she had worked with
both adults and adolescents
in the areas of mental
health therapy and chemical
dependence issues. Her
specialties include
pediatric anxiety, bipolar
issues, addictions,
cognitive behavioral
therapy, as well as
generalized mental health
counseling for children,
adolescents and adults.
She also enjoys couples
therapy. Jennifer has
different credentials
including Chemical and
Alcohol Dependence Counselor
Level 3 (highest level)
to Master’s of
Science in Counseling.
Jennifer has led both
inpatient and outpatient
groups and developed
our bipolar couples
group and is also member
of the pediatric anxiety
team. As a parent herself,
she enjoys working with
children and their families.
Jennifer has her Bachelor’s
of Science in Psychology
from UW Oshkosh and
Masters of Science in
Counseling from University
of Nebraska. When she
is not in the office
Jennifer enjoys exercise,
photography, crocheting
and snowshoeing.

Herb
Allen
MD
Herb
Allen, M.D., graduated
from Harvard College
and the University of
Virginia School of Medicine,
did his internship and
residency in general
pediatrics and a two-year
fellowship in behavioral
pediatrics at the University
of California San Francisco.
He completed his residency
in general psychiatry
at the University of
Wisconsin Madison. He
has been in private
practice as a general
psychiatrist in the
Fox Valley since 1978
and has special interests
in teenagers and adults
with bipolar disorder
and in children and
teenagers with anxiety
disorders. He and his
wife live in Neenah
and have two grown children
and a small dog who
believes he should be
on his own because he
is smarter than his
owners.

Michael
Panzer
MD
An
Appleton native, Dr.
Panzer graduated from
the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
He completed his residency
in Psychiatry at the
University of Michigan
and is Board Certified.
Dr. Panzer helps adults
with general mental
health issues, and people
of all ages with anxiety
problems.

Richard
Stafford
MD
A
Wisconsin native, Dr.
Stafford attended undergraduate
and medical school at
the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
After completing an
internship at the Marshfield
Clinic, he completed
a residency in Psychiatry
at the University of
Wisconsin. He evaluates
and treats Mood and
Anxiety Disorders in
late adolescence and
adulthood. He also treats
Attention Deficit Disorder.
He has experience in
several different clinical
settings and has worked
at Fox Valley Psychiatric
Associates since 2000.
He is married with three adult children
and many grandchildren. He enjoys tennis,
reading, traveling and cooking.

Jan
Butterbrodt
MS, LMFT,
LCSW, LPC, CADC
Jan
has a degree in Psychology/Philosphy,
a Master’s Degree
in Counseling from the
University of Wisconsin
and completed a medical
school rotation in Sexual
Dysfunction at Loyola
University in Chicago.
Jan is a certified Drug/Alcohol
Counselor, and is certified
in EMDR and Hypnosis.
Jas has extensive training
in sex therapy, relationship
therapy, depression,
anxiety, grief, divorce,
co-parenting issues,
habit control issues,
eating disorders, performance
enhancement skills and
the mind-body-spirit
connection to wellness.
Jan is expanding her
practice to divorce
coaching and mediation.
Jan is a member of a
member of a number of
professional associations,
is active in local,
state and national organizations.
Jan has developed a
number of programs and
presentations, along
with producing two TV
shows. Jan’s ability
to be effective reflects
the integration of her
life experiences as
well as her professional
training and Christian
Faith.
Jan’s logo is

and to help them find

Anderson
MS, LCSW, LPC
Specializing
in: Anger Management
and sexual disorders.
Mike Anderson has been
doing individual, family
and couples therapy
for 26 years. He is
an associate of the
American Board of Medical
Psychotherapists and
a member of The International
Association of Marriage
and Family Counselors.
He is a Licensed Clinical
Social Worker and a
Licensed Professional
Counselor.
Mike’s graduate
degree is in Counseling
from the University
of Wisconsin with undergraduate
degrees in Psychology
and Philosophy. His
approach is eclectic
with emphasis on cognitive
behavioral, existential
and problem solving
therapy. He has been
trained in transactional
analysis and enjoys
working with the Christian
and spiritual perspective.
Mike also has significant
experience in working
with sexual perpetrators,
teenagers and veterans.
He has worked in an
adolescent correctional
facility and has been
a director of a therapeutic
community.
Mike offers confidential,
personalized treatment
with a focus on keeping
families healthy, together
and communicative.
