Debra Benishek
APNP
I grew up in a rural community in northeastern Wisconsin. My family farmed part-time, and I was fortunate to be so close to nature with my family and friends.
I attended North Central Technical College in Wausau and graduated with a degree in nursing. After graduation I went to work at a small rural hospital near my home town. I spent three years caring for all types of medical and surgical patients.
I observed there that people admitted to the hospital often felt anxiety and fear of the unknown. I realized that I enjoyed listening to patients and helping them work through their fears. I also saw how emotional and physical well-being go hand-in-hand. These experiences intensified my longstanding interest in mental health. To expand my knowledge in this area I enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. I graduated with a Bachelor degree in Nursing and continued on to UW-Oshkosh where I received my Master degree in Family Nursing. I am a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I completed my training at UW-Madison and received my second Master degree in Psychiatric Nursing and am a certified Clinical Nurse Specialist.
I have over 30 years experience in Psychiatry and have worked in a variety of environments including inpatient, outpatient and day treatment programs. I treat ages 12 and above for all types of conditions including ADHD, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, and Substance Abuse.

Suzan Myhre
MSSW, LCSW, LPC
I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. My parents instilled in me a warm sense of family and the desire to help others strengthen their relationships. I attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison where I received both my bachelor's degree and master's degree in social work. I counseled and supported individuals and families struggling through life changes in the hospital setting and in hospice early in my career. While raising our children, I worked at an outpatient mental health clinic counseling individuals, couples, adolescents and families.
I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, grief, couples, adolescents and those transitioning with aged parents. I have training in Pragmatic Experiential Therapy for Couples, and have led grief groups, children of divorce groups, parenting groups, and successful couples education groups. I have been married to Chris for over 25 years and have three adult children. In my free time, I enjoy spending time exploring the outdoors, with family and friends and in the kitchen cooking. I am active in my church and faith community. I would enjoy the opportunity to meet with you about any of your concerns. |

Michael
Panzer
MD
I am an Appleton native. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School and completed a residency in Psychiatry at the University of Michigan. I am Board Certified. I treat adults with general mental health issues, and people of all ages with anxiety problems. I have special interest in Anxiety Disorders in children.
I prescribe medication when needed but I stress nonmedication avenues to health. I urge my patients to drink as little as possible, exercise regularly, and take excellent care of themselves. If you have a spiritual life, I am happy to discuss it if you want to.
People often tell me how much they like our staff and office. After the first appointment with me, many patients have said that coming to see a psychiatrist was much easier than they expected.
